The final chapter of one of my favourite format sketchbooks, the Etchr Portrait Hot Press sketchbook. Featuring sketches of lunchtime workers in Hong Kong stuffing their faces, model boat enthusiasts racing radio-controlled goldfish-speedboats, market corner stalls and countless diners in local Hong Kong diners known as cha chaan tengs. Click here to browse the interactive flipbook via my website though it’s behind a Patreon-linked paywall, so $5 monthly patreons (and up) only.

Big news! I’m delighted to announce that I’ve got my first solo show at an art musuem later on this year! I was lucky enough to be selected by Comix Home Base in their most recent competition, an organisation set up to preserve and maintain comics artists in Hong Kong, and the exhibition will be held at the Hong Kong Arts Centre in Wan Chai from Oct 14th to 28th.
I’ll be posting more about it in the run up to the event, including piece selections, floorplan layouts and promo material design, but I just wanted you guys to know first.
This year’s shaping up to be pretty busy comics-wise with workshops at both Sketcherfest in Edmonds Seattle followed closely by the Urban Sketchers symposium in Toulouse, France, both in early/mid July. I’ll also be sharing some previews from my talks and workshops here behind the $5 paywall.
Thanks as ever for your support!
